Coloni Motorsport is ready for the Austrian date of the F.I.A. F.3000 International

Coloni Motorsport is ready for the third round of the F.I.A. F.3000 International in the fascinating slopes of Steiermark on the A1-Ring track (Austria).
The preparation-tests for the Spielberg race ended with excellent results and the Italian team is then confident for the Austrian date of the F.3000, in which Coloni Motorsport will for sure improve the good results of the first race in Imola.

A special race then for Zsolt Baumgartner: the Hungarian will have the advantage of running on his second “home” circuit, a track however very familiar for him. In facts there will be a great number of supporters that will come from the near Hungary to see Zsolt’s race, who after the good results achieved in Imola and Barcelona will aim straight to the podium.

Friday the free practice, followed by the qualifying, while Saturday the race will take place at 15.00 h. (The event will be broadcasted by Eurosport on May 18th, Sunday, at 11.00 h. AM).

Paolo Coloni, Team Principal: “We’re happy to come back here in Austria, the track which the last year saw our drivers starting in second and third position. This is a very selective circuit and we think it could exalt the driving skills of Ricardo Sperafico and Zsolt Baumgartner. We did two profitable testing sessions the last week that confirmed the excellent quality of our cars and the validity of the technical solutions developed during the winter tests. We’re then confident and we are in Austria with the same target of ever, that also in 2003 is aiming constantly to the podium with both of the cars”.

Zsolt Baumgartner, driver: “I really like this track, in the 2002 I made a beautiful race. I hope first of all for excellent qualifying, in order to start then in the front rows and to aim so to the first position”.

Ricardo Sperafico, driver: “We are sure that we will do a good job, in the last year Coloni Motorsport obtained good results, I think we can point at the victory and besides I like the circuit. The car is really improved from the first race, we have the possibility of being the front runners”.
